We purchased this because it was rated as a top air fryer. This device does many things - including ruining 90 percent of the food i put in it. Air frying is definitely something this machine does NOT do well. It will turn your food to mush with a few burned pieces on the outsides.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad quality shelf and tray

I like the performance of the oven, but I am disappointed with the quality of the shelf and tray. Those pieces already look rusty and bad looking. It is a relatively new oven because it is only 5 months old and I use it once or twice a week. I am very careful with cleaning and all my appliances. I would like to know if you could review my complaint.

Great oven bad design

I hate writing bad reviews on what should have been an awesome product but I know for a fact this will not last a long time and for the price I am very very disappointed. The oven itself works great but how and where they have placed the digital timer and dials are ( DEFINITELY IN THE WRONG PLACE ) and on top of that, they have nothing in place to stop the steam and moisture that's pumping out of that side like the funnel of a steam engine from getting in there, and as you can guess in am already having issues with my oven already, it's been only 4 months since in bought mine, so for everyone who made it longer than a year I am really happy for you.

Great product! Poor design

First of all this was an upgrade from the pro. I hate that I cannot select the frozen option when on bake whereas I could do so with the pro. I normally cook frozen dinners and would like to be able to have that option. Next the steam/smoke keeps coming out in the from of the unit which is now leaving a dark mark on my counter tops and under my cabinets. It’s a very very poor design. I am not sure if I have a defective item and sure wish I could get an exchange as it makes no sense.

ESCAPING SMOKE THROUGH THE DOOR

BOUGHT THIS LESS THAN A MONTH AGO AND I AM HIGHLY CONCERN STEAM AND SMOKE ESCAPE THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR AND GETS MY CABINETS ALL WET. HAD A SMALLER OVEN AND NEVER DID THAT IT CLOUDS THE SCREEN I AM AFRAID WONT LAST LONG DUE TO IT?

Hello, Condensation from the door and the area around the control panel is actually normal with the BOV900 depending on the moisture content of the foods being cooked. It is recommended that there be a minimum of 6 inches of space over top of the oven for proper ventilation which should prevent any issue with the over head cabinets.

Garbage

Just threw it in the garbage. The door worked for two weeks then started jamming. Next the heating element broke because the door guide struck it after the guide screw came out. I have had a Breville espresso machine for over a decade. This “oven” is not the same quality. Shameful design.

It’s a great size if you have a big family. We made our thanksgiving ham in it. However it IS very noisy, the outside gets extremely hot so watch out for anything that might be around it because it could melt. Does not cook evenly when using the air frying mode, one side burns. And cleaning is impossible without significantly scratching the drip pan. You can’t use oven cleaner nor chemicals, and scrubbing too hard with a sponge will scratch it. So now it smokes very time I turn it on because it has caked on grease from the ham and the sweet potatoes fries I made.
