We have had our air fryer pro for a few weeks and have tried many of the settings including air fry, bake, roast and dehydrate. Everything has worked as expected and the addition of the recipe app from Breville has given us inspiration to try some new meals. Very happy with this purchase.

Rotating Selector Knob Unresponsive

Purchased 5 yrs ago, still working, but at some point the rotating selector knob started becoming unresponsive at times. You rotate the knob, but it won't advance up or down (or will skip) to select the type of cooking you want to do every time. I use it daily and really have enjoyed the oven a lot outside of this one troublesome aspect. I would only recommend with reservations.

I was hesitant to purchase this toaster oven asit was so costly. However I decided to try it. All I can say is that I love it! It is so easy to use. Reheated pizza is so good. Baking, broiling, air frying is so good and do easy. No more bending over the oven. A joy to use.
I started with a Black & Decker and moved up to Cuisinart. But it was time for a new toaster oven and I wanted one that could take the place of my oven now that it was just me and my husband. Bonus points if it could handle the Pullman loaf pan from King Arthur (perfectly done...) and replace my air fryer (ultimately crisp and light tater tots) while still making toast and roasting veg as well as reheating leftovers.
My Breville handles all of that and more. I love how I can easily switch from regular oven to convection to super convection.
It's large enough to handle all of my Pyrex pans and strong enough to cook things perfectly. Super happy with this.

We bought this two years ago to expedite, making toast for our family of five. However, I have used it to make chicken, cookies, roasted vegetables, air, fried fish and chicken, and even cake.
However, the hinge on the door has failed, which has it open precariously and not close securely. So as the machine still works well, the cooking can be uneven. I wish it would’ve lasted longer than this. I would recommend with the knowledge of the Asterix.

This is my second Smart Oven. I would still have my first one if the door did not have a problem closing completely - Breville offered to repair it for me and they also offered me a substantial discount on a new one - i opted for the new one - I love the product - very versatile, very dependable, very usable...I highly recommend all Breville products - I also have a Breville toaster...

Door not closing.

The smart oven air fryer pro Initially worked great, but after only 17 months all of the sudden the it started having issues. The door when closing by default leaves an open gap, no longer fully closing without it being pushed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
