Like the air fryer, drip pan too small

Most air fryers require you have a pan under the air fry basket, but I found that the pan that came with my oven is not large enough. It only covers about 90% of the area.

Absolutely love this... however

I absolutely love this smart oven.. One day we decided to give it a thorough cleaning and since then, the door does not shut properly.... leaving a gap. Since I love it so much, I'm wondering if I should get another... but will the same issue occur again..

We've tried most functions on this oven now and are well satisfied with it. It heats up quickly and has almost eliminated the need for a full size oven. The only downside is that the oven casing casing on the left hand side hot gets very hot.

Great Oven but concerned

This is oven is great. I had a Smart Oven Pro and bought this for the larger size. I’m able to fit a 6.5qt Le Crueset oval dutch oven in it. Every thing I’ve cooked has turned out great but I’m concerned about a gap between the door and the oven body. The gap goes all the way across the door, like it doesn’t close completely. That doesn’t seem very energy efficient. I thought there was only supposed to be a gap in the corners of the door to let steam evaporate.

I needed a 2nd oven while I repaired my ranges door. I chose the Air Fryer Pro as an alternative to the main oven. The Smart Ovens features that I have used so far for the most part have cooked the food I put in it successfully.

Breville Smart Oven

This is a great oven. We love it. Unfortunately there is only a 2 year warranty as one of its features breakdown after 2 years. This is our 2nd oven. Was told to contact Breville after the purchase to purchase an extended warranty, but after sending emails and doing a contact us--no ones responded to purchase the extended warranty. We were unable to purchase the extended warranty when we purchased the oven as they said we needed to do it it online - but there was no indication of how we could purchase an extended warranty. Would appreciate Breville responding to us.

Great when it worked but.....

I've owned this oven for a few years and loved it (I previously had a smaller Breville oven with less features) until it started to have problems. First the oven door stopped closing properly (my husband found out online that this is a frequent complaint) but we still used the oven. Then the oven - after preheating - would make a popping noise. Whenever that happened, the oven would go back to the preheating mode with the timer flashing but the time would not decrease so....I had no idea how long something was cooking. I would have to open the door and shut it again for the oven to continue cooking properly. But now, the popping noise happens quite often during a cooking cycle and it's silly to keep opening and closing the door. I can use a separate timer but.....really? I expected more from Breville.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
