Elevan months and problems bloom

The Smart Oven Air has been wonderful until two weeks ago, (11months and 2 weeks old), now the door will not shut. Problem with the hinge and when I am able to shut the door, the air fryer mode time keeps blinking and shuts off early and doesn't cook the food. So greatly disappointment.

Best Multi Function Appliance

I've had other Breville ovens, but this is the best ever. I've made pot roast on the slow cook setting & it was excellent. Air fry is great for bacon. I plan to try dehydrate next. Gave away my stand alone air fryer & the crockpot is going too. If you plan to buy a Breville oven, upgrade to this one. You won't be disappointed. I have several Breville appliances & they're all top of the line.

Function Knob Problems

While this oven is fantastic for cooking, getting it tot he desired function can be a real problem. After about 4 months ours has started to only scroll down and unplugging it is the only way tto solve this problem making it effectively useless. I have the 870XL espresso machine and we bought this because we liked their products so much, however this one hurts. I will post a follow up when they fix the problem.

It Does what it does PERFECTLY

I love the preheat time set and when you open to check your brownies the cook time stops until you close the door, then it starts where it was before you interrupted the cooking. I love cooking 9 pieces of toast on one rack and you can triple that if you have the family over. The roasting feature is perfect, amazing roasts that actually roast not bake. Easy to operate very intuitive. You will love this oven air fry too, especially for tater tots and fries .. use avacado oil spitz bottle to give a bit of oil that will not burn at high temps like olive oil .. add your spices and fry away .. ENJOY

The Very Best Counter Top Oven

We had the smaller model for 8 years and still works perfect. We saw the new lager model and decided to upgrade. Easy to use, bakes and cooks perfect. Accurate heat settings. Looks great!!! We Love this Breville Oven!!!

Great little oven.

This is truly a worth substitute for a full-sized oven (as long as it will accomodate the size of the pot/pan to be used). I had a Smart Oven Pro previously and the added interior size of the Air version and additional features are very welcome. It may be of interest to bread bakers to know that the Staub enamalled cast iron 4-quart coquette will fit into this oven without removing the top knob of the lid. (The knob had to be removed for the pot to fit into the Pro version). I now do most of my yeast bread baking in the Staub pot in the Air oven producing a boule-type round loaf. Really great results.

Great New Edition To Our Kitchen

We purchased the BOV900 to replace our 8 year old Breville BOV800 that is still working fine. Saw all the new features and thought after 8 years let's upgrade. We were not disappointed, this oven creates magic in the kitchen. Everything comes out perfect and no need to use our large oven most of the time. The inside light is a wonderful new edition. So many settings clear and easy to use. Does not heat up our kitchen. Nice accessories come with the oven and many more available to suit ones individual needs. Highly recommend. High quality that will last for many years.

Don't care if no cookbook

I've really enjoyed using this oven for 6 months. Have not had a single problem with adapting any recipes to it. I've hardly ever had to make recipe adjustments. It's easy to see items cooking. I occasionally take a look at the progress an anything I'm cooking for the first time. For example, casserole getting too brown, cover with tin foil, venting if necessary or adjust temperature down depending upon what's cooking. Roasted vegetables are wonderful cooked at high temperatures in this oven. Between my Instant Pot and Breville oven a whole new world of cooking has opened up for me. And, I rarely use my full size built in oven and cooktop anymore.
