Great at first and then door closing issues

We have purchased 2 breville ovens and after a couple years the door wouldn't close properly.and left a gap that got worse over time. No suitable response from Breville. We have put up with the door not closing for a couple years and I'm afraid they haven't fixed the engineering that causes this problem so we are afraid the purchase another
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The older wall plug was perfect with the loop to put in the socket and pull out. This new rounded one is very difficult to both unplug & plug in (even more so). Quite disappointed about this. Been struggling to plug it in each time I have to use it. Not sure what motivated the change. That was a much better design. If it had to be changed, it should have been made to look like the American plug for all appliances. This round is absolutely not user-friendly. Have to place this one at different angles before it finally goes in because the cable itself is supposed to be at an angle with bottom prong.

I bought this oven over a year ago. I use it for small batch bakes. Some weeks ago it went on the fritz. As the warrantee period is two years, Breville sent me a shipping label and packaging and paid for the shipping. Couple weeks later it came back repaired. Awesome!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does so much and handles large amounts!

love this one other my previous toaster oven in many ways. more features and more room. I have a family of 4 and it was difficult to air fry chicken wings without doing multiple batches but this one is so large inside I can do 2 trays at once and I alternate them 1/2 way and can bake an entire bag! Tried dehydration once with plantains and was very easy. I plan to get another air fry tray. Our traditional oven is sad we got this as we use this daily!
I got my breville smart oven 2 months ago and while I love its function it is a pain to clean. Everything sticks to it and even though I follow the cleaning instructions nothing comes off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using the smart oven for about 11 years. It is my go to cooking appliance. Although I am on my 4th smart oven , they seem to have a problem with the door, I would not be with one.
Living where it is so hot in the summer I never used my stove oven. I was waiting to find a large enough countertop oven that fit my pans, especially my full size 12 muffin pan, I have other Breville appliances and I just love them, so I knew I would love this too. I love that I can choose between bake or convection. That was a game changer. My husband even thanked me for getting this.I do keep mine unplugged like all my small appliances to protect them as much as possible from power surges. Preheating is really fast.
