The Breville Smart Oven was a great purchase for our needs. We are able to air fry multiple layers of chicken wings ( as we purchased two more of the baskets). With 15 wings per basket. We have used it for a pork roast, roasting chicken, air frying a variety of vegetables, you name it. This appliance easily used at least 4 to 5 times per week. I would recommend this appliance to anyone who doesn't want to heat up their kitchen with their conventional large oven. The air fry feature is the greatest.
I have owned this oven for almost 4 years and bake everything in it: casseroles, cookies, pies, roasted veggies, air fry chicken nuggets. It wonderful to have an oven that doesn't heat up the kitchen in the summer. Love the timer that auto sets. Great little oven!!

After I moved into my son’s home, with his wife and four children, I wanted to give them something special for Christmas- a family gift! I purchased a Breville Smart toaster oven- but it is so much more! It toasts, bakes, broils, more, it even air fries! You would have thought that I gave them gold! That was in 12/2021. It is still the most used appliance in the kitchen 7/ 2024! Everyone uses and loves it, esp my daughter-in-law!
This is the second Breville Toaster Oven we have owned. The first one lasted 15 years. We have been very satisfied with both of them. Was thinking about giving the old one to my mom before it broke. I wax actually happy when it did break so I could get one with the air fryer. The new one doesn’t toast quite as well as the smaller old one but still does a good job.
I’ve been using this oven for about a month. Everything comes out perfect.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great at first and then door closing issues

We have purchased 2 breville ovens and after a couple years the door wouldn't close properly.and left a gap that got worse over time. No suitable response from Breville. We have put up with the door not closing for a couple years and I'm afraid they haven't fixed the engineering that causes this problem so we are afraid the purchase another
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The older wall plug was perfect with the loop to put in the socket and pull out. This new rounded one is very difficult to both unplug & plug in (even more so). Quite disappointed about this. Been struggling to plug it in each time I have to use it. Not sure what motivated the change. That was a much better design. If it had to be changed, it should have been made to look like the American plug for all appliances. This round is absolutely not user-friendly. Have to place this one at different angles before it finally goes in because the cable itself is supposed to be at an angle with bottom prong.
