This is the second one I have owned. They have very even heat and bake, toast, and have never had any trouble with them. I just got a new one, for all the new updates since i purchased the first one 10 years ago.
I love this oven and use it exclusively. I can do anything in it and it always turns out great. The ease of use is terrific with a setting for any way I want to bake, broil, air fry, etc.
I love this oven. It gets used everyday. I was surprise at its ability to keep temperature even when loaded with items that absorb a lot of heat. It’s also a great way to bake on a hot day and not heat up the whole house. I use the phased cooking often and it makes baking/broiling when you need phases easy. I was hesitant at first, but no regrets at all. Highly recommend this oven.
I love my Breville Smart Oven. It allows me to do everything that I can do with my oven PLUS I can air fry, proof, dehydrate and slow cook. Its especially great in the summer as I can use the Smart Oven Air without heating up the house which would be the case with an oven. In addition, over the holiday season, I was able to use both my oven and Breville Smart Oven Air to cook all of my dishes.
This was the best investment I made into a kitchen appliance. We use our Smart Oven Air almost daily. It cooks fast, evenly, doesn't heat up the house, and it's very easy to keep clean. If you're looking for an air fryer and convection oven, you've found the best on the market. No regrets. Worth every penny.
Defective Model - Doesn't start timer after you open & close oven door.

Initially I received a defective product. The timer wouldn't start when I would open and close the door after preheating, which caused the oven to turn off after ~5 minutes. I notified breville and they provided me another oven ASAP; I do appreciate their fast response. But the replacement oven is just a software update to start the timer as soon as preheating is done. It doesn't wait for me to open & close the oven door to start the timer. I would avoid this model until they fix whatever hardware/software issue is causing the problem.
