Get separate oven and air fryer

Great oven but the air fryer makes a nasty mess in oven and there is nothing to prevent it from smoking up the house when “frying” poultry or meats.
Very expensive mess.
Would recommend a separate toaster oven and air fryer.

We use our smart oven 70% of the time vs. regular oven because it heats up fast and works well. It gets used for toasting, reheating, frozen pizzas and all typical oven duties. We upgraded to the larger Air fryer version a couple of years ago and is a nice added feature. you do have to watch, Air frying can go from soft to over cooked quickly. Air fryer unit is big, but with family if 5 and how much we use it it is fine. may be too big for a kitchen with limited counter space. Our first 800xl unit was old and I wanted a new one, so I upgraded, but I'd still be happy with the standard 800xl because we air fry infrequently.

They have great customer service and the oven replaced oue oversized one most others have. It more efficient then other ovens as it preheats faster, and cooks faster, yet thoroughly cooks the food. We couldn't ask for any better of a space saving money saving oven.

Just love it. Breville replaced my Oster. Breville is smaller so fits the counter better but has the same amount of room inside. Breville looks beautiful and made so well. Every thing I cooked so far came out perfect. And FAST. This was worth every penny. But, most important, customer service is great. I called them a few times to get help w choosing the right model, then w purchase, then w help starting out. These people at Breville are simply wonderful.

Mostly I love this appliance. My only issue, and the reason it lost a star, is that there's no guards over the bottom heating elements. Ordinarily this isn't an issue, but when using the air fryer basket we've had grease/cheese/crumbs fall onto the heating elements where it smokes and stinks horribly.
