I have used this oven for 2 months and love it. I use it almost daily and it does everything well. Toast is excellent and evenly done. I use convection and air fry regularly for quick meals. Frozen fries, chicken strips or fish and chips all come better than my large oven. I was worried the air fry basket would get messy, but it wipes clean easily. I tried air fried chicken wings from scratch and they were excellent. The controls are precise and easy to use. The inside light Is helpful and comes on when you open the door and also 10 seconds before the cooking cycle ends. It does get hot on top and I have it on a counter top with cabinets above. I bought the bamboo cutting board from Breville that goes on top of the oven and that solved the issue. I am very satisfied with this oven and every product that I own from Breville!

I only wish I had purchased this sooner. It’s perfect. Easy to clean (just use a magic eraser), cooks a steak better than a charcoal grill, and the air fryer does a magic spin on any veggie I pop in there. If you are on the fence, do it. Even my husband loves this gadget. (Oh, and I baked a cake in there. Don’t know when I’m going to use my regular stove!)

I initially bought this product for my sister who, at the time, was living in a one-room apartment without an oven. She LOVES it. She was so enthusiastic that I bought one for myself. It's big enough to cook almost anything for one or two people, and the air fryer feature is great (probably better than a deep fat fryer) for frozen foods like fries and Tater Tots. However, don't expect it to be a replacement for a deep fat fryer for fresh foods like French fries, onion rings, or calamari. I like to cook, but I'm not a dedicated "foodie". So, I have been disappointed to find that the recipes available for this appliance are mostly very involved and aren't specific about when to use the mesh fry basket vs. the roasting pan.

Just got this unit. Doesn't seem to get as hot as my previous Breville toaster. Baked in it at a temp of 350 degrees. I put a thermometer in it and it only registered 300 degrees. For the price it shouldn't be like that

Best oven I have ever owned

I cannot say enough positive things about this oven or about Breville. It cooks amazing , better than my double built in convection ovens from a high end company which our family barely uses since we purchased this oven. I have had two of these ovens and I traded in the second after a few years for a new one and had an issue as the door did not close right after many months of continual use . Breville customer service is excellent, sent back the oven and they quickly mailed a new one. The air fryer is simply the best on the market as I have had a few. This oven for a very reasonable price can replace any expensive built in oven.
