Less than a month old and it does not reach the heat set by the thermostat. Same problem as two others. Outrageously bad product and no quality control. I imagine I will hear nothing back from Breville.

The oven is very easy to use and produces great results! I am still learning how to best utilize all of the features. We have never had cookies turn out with such a nice texture! I love my morning bacon cooked with the air fryer feature. It is great for re-heating leftovers. My husband uses the toast feature every morning. So versatile!

Kind of disappointed due to air fryer performance is unexpected satisfaction. I have to use 460 Fahrenheit degree to bake for 1 hr (longer time to bake)
I usually bake at 400 F in convection oven
I am not sure at what temperature that the heat tube turn on all at once.
Toast is also not crispy.

The proving feature was what got me to buy the Breville, but I love this oven even more than I thought it would. My family is clambering for roasted veggies, and I have made some amazing potatoes. I can't wait for fruit season to try the dehydrate function, too.

Just bought Smart Oven Air fryer pro...

We just bought Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro. We got rid of our microwave and wanted something with a healthier alternative to cooking. We set the Smart Oven air fryer pro in th same space we had the microwave oven, which is not on a counter top, but up above the in a space in the upper cabinets where you often see microwaves, which is about the same height as the top oven in a double wall oven set up. I'm 5 feet tall and can not read the Smart Oven LCD screen. The LCD screen was desighned to be read looking down at it on a counter, if the oven is up in space like a microwave would be, the LCD looks blank. When I stand at my husbands 6 foot height, while I'm on a stool, I can read the LCD screen. It's too bad Breville has calibrated the LCD screen to be read solely from a counter top or a the very least have a the LCD screen adjustable, so it can be read from different vantage points of height. I wish I'd know this before buying!

Thank you for your feedback. It is true that the oven is meant to be used on a countertop. You'll notice in the manual, it indicates that a minimum distance of 4" (10cm) of space on both sides of the appliance and 6" (15cm) above is required when operating the oven. Not having this clearance can actually cause the oven to malfunction, and can void the warranty. Please don't hesitate to reach out should any questions arise. My air fryer of 4+ years that gets used a minimum of 4 X per week, was worn out and just beat down. It was a basket fryer that served me very, very well. It was however time for an upgrade. A friend of mine and I got to talking about air fryers and she told me she had the Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro and loved it. I did my research and was impressed with all the amazing features and versatility of it so I purchased one. I could not be any happier with it. This machine is absolutely brilliant. So many functions that allow me to do so much in the kitchen. Totally worth every penny. The way it cooks food is beyond compare. I hardly use my oven any more. I absolutely love it.
