Our first Breville oven died after 11 hard years. A workhorse! Used 2-3 times daily, and more during holidays. Survived 3 moves. Was our primary oven. Led us to buy only Breville products. When we had to shop new one, Breville was only considered. Was suspicious of air fryer model, but we tend to go high end, and trust Breville. Of course, have not been disappointed. Use air fryer frequently. And, moved again and have not used the real oven. Toast, bagels, fish, pies, pork, beef, pizzas, frozens, veggies—all perfect in the Breville!
LOVE IT. We have even taken it in our RV and enjoyed cooking at our campsite. Many RV's only come with boring convection/microwave. We had some great meals with it.
This is a truly practical counter top oven. You can bake a full loaf of bread, 12 muffins, or a 9” pie in it with great success. Even does a good job making toast. If you have the counter space for it, don’t settle for anything smaller. Worth the price.
we owned the breville smart oven pro, but wanted an air fryer., so we bought the breville smart oven air fryer pro. it is larger, has 2 racks inside, and we use it for everything. made excellent air fried steak as well as vegetables. of course we also use it for baking, toasting and broiling. we have an electric stove, so using the smart oven air fryer pro, uses less electricity, takes a shorter time to get to the correct temperature and doesn't heat up the kitchen.
Never thought I could be in love with a piece of kitchen equipment that takes up counter space but this Air Fryer Pro is the best!! I love that it's big enough to hold my 9 x 13. I haven't used my stove oven since this arrived!! Tator tots in my air fryer are super crispy and reheated pizza (on the pizza setting) tastes like fresh pizza.
The first oven I purchased was dead on arrival and I had to drive to a nearby town to return it and purchase another. That said though, this is an awesome oven. Ultimately I'm thrilled with it.
My last Breville Smart oven lasted 7 yrs before the convection fan went wonky. I could still do everything in it, just no convection. Loved that oven! So I bought the big sister, and so far so good. Love all the options, esp. dough proof and slow cook. I am so happy 9x13 pans will fit in this larger one. I have noticed, especially on homemade biscuits that I must turn them halfway if convection is on so browning is even. Other than that, we use it more than once a day and cooked many Thanksgiving dishes in it. It fulfills my cooking needs and nice to display on your counter.
