This is the best counter-top over I've ever owned. And I've owned many.

My last counter-top over (made by a well-known French maker of food processors) gave me many years of good service, but finally gave it up. I'd been eying a Breville for several months, guided mainly by the great reviews it received from America's Test Kitchens and Consumer Reports. It did not disappoint! It lived up to its reviews, and I love it! I've owned many counter-top ovens over the years and this is head and shoulders the best.
Works great on many settings that I have used. Trying to dry sliced meat on the grill and placing the jerky in the Breville air dryer. A fantastic piece of an oven.
Really love it except for the toast function. Can't seem to get it right. Either over cooks, undercooks or uneven...so I need to watch carefully every time I toast..Still working on it.
This air fryer/toaster oven/dehydrator is an amazing tool to have in your kitchen. I was using a cheaper toaster oven before getting this Breville and it’s totally worth it. The versatility of this machine is incredible. I’ve made and reheated a lot of different foods and they all come out amazing. I know it’s a steep price point, but it’s definitely worth it. There’s a noticeable different between the lower end machines and the Breville.
Control knobs on front dial are not backlit, making it very hard to read what does what. Door does not seem particularly well sealed with steam escaping around the top edges.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We can confirm for you that depending on the moisture content of the food you're air frying, there will be steam emitted from the door. The vents in the door are for just that purpose. The steam will get on the display panel. You'll see this noted in the user's manual, including under the Trouble Shooting section.
I love the bigger smart oven. I have had the older version for years. Though the older model is still working perfectly, I wanted the new proofing and air fryer capability. So impressed with both functions. The larger size is great.
