Air Frier Option disappointment

Im not usually a reviewer but I was particularly irked about the air frier. I had a separate air frier that i used mutiple times a week for my kids chicken nuggets/french fries etc. I bought this because of the air frier Plus all other settings BUT the air frier basket is TERRIBLE. they made it with an interlocking diamond grid which kind of overlaps slightly on each other so if u run your hand over it, its bumpy and uneven. this didnt phase me when i opened it from package but when you put any food on it, it sticks! everything sticks. and worse when I tried to wash it after every use, it tears the sponge!! i used two different types of sponges (sponge daddy & scotch bright). The overlaping wire design of the air frier basket just tore up the sponge and then I was left with tiny bits of sponge in the grooves. Also theres nothing underneath the basket to catch any oil or crumbs so everything just dripps down all over the bottom heating elements etc. If you think about most air friers, the food basket is usually surrounded by some sort of bin/pan so all the juices/oils etc that comes out during cooking gets captured. this one is literally an open stand alone basket. For this oven to have air frier as part of the title, they left very little to be desired. And I still have to use my old air frier.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your review and feedback. We do note in the manual, that when cooking fatty foods (e.g. chicken wings), use roasting pan instead of air fry/dehydrate basket to prevent the oil dripping. Discard excess oil in between the batches. We are sorry to hear of your disappointment. We do value customers' input. Very good customer service solve the problems

I receive my new oven it takes a little disappointed to get it I received today second of September Thursday 2021 I hope you don’t have any problem with this because I really really love it and this is the third one they send it to customer service very well I’m very happy we love Bible my husband love rebel but I was disappointed with the first and the second so they send them to me this third one and I hope works like I expect thank you very much
Awesome oven, slow cooker, toaster, air fryer, hydrator and more. It is on the larger size but all the features make up for the size. I especially love the slow cooker and toaster feature. Tried the dehydrator and my apples turned out awesome but it takes a lot of time. You won’t regret buying this.
We are finding that our new Smart Oven is simple and easy to operate. The basic premise is there and with just a few adjustments in what we're doing, it gets the job done. Very happy we got it.
