Incredible oven! No regrets paying full price!

We cook often and have not touched our big oven since we received this gem! The proof function is amazingly helpful. No more planning hours in advance if we want pizza or bread! I didn't have a pizza stone for this size oven and we usually bake our pizza on the outside grill that goes over 700 degrees but decided to try home made pizza anyway. The included pizza pan which I thought would be useless somehow turned out incredibly crispy crust pizza! The toast function makes crispy bread taste like its fresh baked. I love the large window that allows me to monitor the cooking process. Watching my focaccia bread rise as it baked was amazing! I've used every function except air fry and dehydrate. We used to have a dedicated drawer type air fryer that we used often but grease flies and gets everywhere in the elements and invariably ends up smelling rancid after time no matter how hard you try to clean. I don't want to chance that with this oven. The wings come out crispy enough on regular bake and convection. The fact that it can go to low temps allows me to reverse sear steaks that come out like sous vide! (My big gas oven had trouble holding the low temperatures without turning off.) This oven fits a 5 1/2 qt Le Creuset dutch oven with the black knob (not the metal knobs as those are bigger) and a 3 1/2 qt Le Creuset braiser. (Just a note that I was concerned when I read another review that criticized the oven having PTFE. In researching, I found that PTFE is considered safe (unlike PFOA) especially at temps under 500 degrees and this oven only goes to 480). I've seen pictures in the reviews where people are not allowing six inches on both sides and on top. I think that's critical because it's a powerful little oven and of course, logic tells you steam has to escape or it will explode! So make sure you allow it enough room! Overall, thrilled with this purchase!

This is our first air fryer, and I am very pleased with it. The air fryer really does make things crispy. I can set the toast to just the right crispness no matter how many slices I'm toasting. Bagels come out perfect. Convection makes this a great little oven. I look forward to trying all the features.

Missing one most important feature

I bought this air fryer pro, tried it at home and returned it the next day. Yes it does all it says it can do but I can do all that with my very expensive oven except for air frying. I even think cleaning my oven is easier as it has a self clean option. While cleaning the air fryer pro I cut my knuckle I two places due to the sharp edges of the heating element shield. Also because of its smaller size it really isn’t easy to clean. But it’s still missing a very important feature. It does require proper ventilation same as you should have with your stove top oven. Sure it roasted my chicken same as my oven would have done but all the smoke and odor needs to be ventilated. I ended up setting off smoke defectors due to lack of ventilation. I don’t recall reading about needing proper ventilation but that’s okay lesson learned. If the kids still want an air fryer for their chicken wings, etc I will buy a small air fryer that I can place under my vent hood.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Breville for the WIN!

Having had a Breville espresso machine for years I knew when I went for an air fryer it would be Breville. We’ve had this for almost 2 mo and I couldn’t be happier.
TBH this is a revolutionary appliance. I can do anything with this! We no longer do toast 2 pcs a time leaving some eating and some waiting! I’ve dehydrated 4-5x already and NO dragging out a separate appliance. Air frying is fantastic and simply adding baskets doubles the already substantial capacity.
We “broil” our French onion soup in one or two serving batches without heating the whole oven and rearranging racks - SO convenient.
Like my espresso machine I clean this after every use and because of the high quality I expect it to look like new for years to come.
Couldn’t be happier and Breville honoring the sale price was just icing on the cake! In a world of cheap, disposable appliances it’s nice to know Breville is keeping up the quality.

This is my 2nd Oven in 20+ years. I upgraded from the Mini Smart Oven that was soooo reliable for 20 yrs!
Didn't realize the new features would impress me so much. I use my Oven nearly every day. Love the Air-fry (something totally foreign to me), the Proof setting is so great...I bake my own bread once a week and my gas stove can't be set low enough yto proof dough. And the crazy thing...love, love, love the oven light!
