We live in AZ and bought this to spare the air conditioner. It is temperature accurate, versatile, and easy to clean. Also the perfect size for two people. I took off one star because the toast function is not that great. But man does not live by toast alone!
Works like a dream, but a real nightmare to clean.

This is an amazing machine. All of the settings work wonderfully, and as they should. Air fried items come out perfectly crispy, baked items bake quickly with swirling conventional beauty. But oh my, good luck getting it clean. The non-stick tray was almost impossible to clean after air frying a batch of lightly oiled fries (we used it under the air fryer so the oil wouldn’t get on the burners, so much so that I will never use it again without covering it with aluminum foil. But the worst part is the air fry baker. It works well, but it is literally impossible to clean. It has a tiny basket wave structure made of metal, and if you try to scrub it with a sponge you will spend the rest of your short life trying to pick out the hundreds of millions of tiny plastic sponge fibers that have been shredded and stuck into a million tiny mesh eyelets. Oh, and the manual provides no suggestions. But it does say you can’t put the air fry tray in the dishwasher.
This is actually my second Smart Oven. Not because the first one failed. I just wanted an upgrade and I roasted coffee in the previous one so its condition was my undoing.
Im a fan of Breville products. I own several. My only negative comment I can come up with at this time is related to the LCD screen. You have to place the oven on an eye level or lower surface. If you place it on a surface just above eye level it dims out. Granted this is moot for most users who place the unit on a counter or AT eye level on a shelf. So that is a tiny issue for an otherwise amazing piece of Tech.
I love the bigger smart oven. I have had the older version for years. Though the older model is still working perfectly, I wanted the new proofing and air fryer capability. So impressed with both functions. The larger size is great.
Control knobs on front dial are not backlit, making it very hard to read what does what. Door does not seem particularly well sealed with steam escaping around the top edges.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We can confirm for you that depending on the moisture content of the food you're air frying, there will be steam emitted from the door. The vents in the door are for just that purpose. The steam will get on the display panel. You'll see this noted in the user's manual, including under the Trouble Shooting section.
