This is my second oven the first one stopped working. Now I am having major issues with the second one. The timer doesn't work and the oven turns off prior to my food being cooked. My mother in law has the same one and has no issues. its so frustrating. I called Breville and the informed me that the oven was not getting enough power. I head my power outlets checked and they are perfect. Could it be that I received two ovens that are duds? HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED.

I was so excited to have this little oven . But now I am so upset to write this review about how to handle the problem with their product . First time use it. Toast a couple of bread or bagel I saw the steam leaking from bottom of right side little bit . And the steam leaks more and more from top right side. It create condensation on the panel of LED. It create moisture and dripping water on my counter top. I naver saw any oven leaking steam even cheap toast oven . I contact and address the problem and I gat answer that is normal. I know one od my community website person used one year and she has same problem and she got answer that they know some door has issue and she got exchanged. I don’t know what to do now.

Thank you for reaching out to Breville through your review. I can confirm for you that depending on the moisture content of the food you're air frying, there will be steam emitted from the door. The vents in the door are for just that purpose. The steam will get on the display panel. You'll see this noted in the user's manual, including under the Trouble Shooting section.
Steam is coming out from the oven door • This is normal. The door is vented to release steam created from high moisture content foods such as frozen breads.
Water is dripping onto counter from under door • This is normal. The condensation created from high moisture content foods such as frozen breads will run down the inside of the door and can drip onto the counter.
Since condensation builds up, if you are air frying fatty foods, grease can definitely be emitted along with the condensation. That's why we do suggest in the manual that when cooking fatty foods (e.g. chicken wings) use roasting pan instead of air fry/dehydrate basket to prevent the oil dripping. Discard excess oil in between the batches.
Very disappointed in this product the glass broke the first time second time the door broke

I just bought this air fryer and I am deeply disappointed about the escaping steam during cooking process! :( Steam covers the display panel, and water drops rolling down on the front surface of the oven. Doesn’t seem normal and acceptable for me. I thought Breville knows better:(. I have another kitchen supplies from them and I love those.

Our little Breville is still cooking well, but we have needed a new drip tray since May, and none are available.

Thank you for taking the time to leave you comment. It is frustrating when items are out of stock. While we always strive to replenish stock as expediently as possible, there are times when there is a gap of time between when a product goes out of stock, and when we receive more stock. We are working to replenish stock as expediently as possible. We would very much like to see if we can assist you. We do have an account for you in our system. We'll be sending you an email shortly. I loved my Breville smart oven until yesterday when baking in it the front glass door shattered and cracked. Glass everywhere, beware.
