Loved it, but..

I love this appliance. It heats up fast, I use it for almost everything. I don't care for the air fryer function and the tray for the air fryer function is a pain to clean so I rarely use it. Everything else works great. It's expensive and I should have purchased the warranty. I've had it just over 3 years and it all of a sudden just shut off in the middle of baking, never to turn on again... I had issues with the dial at time as well. After awhile the dial would get stuck on certain settings. My mom also had this appliance and said the exact thing about the dial getting stuck. Hers also just died as well after a couple years. Definitely get the extended warranty! I love this oven, but super disappointed it died already. With the price of a new one I won't be purchasing again.
After 2 yrs my oven door would no longer shut. Breville took care of it. Unfortunately, there was a delay in getting my oven back after the repair and I ended up being without my oven for about 30 days. You never realize how much you use something until it's gone. Breville ended up making it right and sent me out a brand new oven. Now a days, nothing really lasts that long and you should only buy products that companies stand behind. Breville is certainly that company. I love my oven and Breville, thanks!
My husband gifted me this oven, replacing an inexpensive, basic model from another manufacturer. The interior of the oven and crumb tray are a breeze to keep clean. The convection fan can be off, on low or high speed. The oven temp goes up to 450*F. The magnetic middle tray pull-out is a definite game changer. The exterior does not get hot. Every feature was well engineered. Overall, a vast improvement over my previous oven.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Computer problems

Purchased one for my daughter and one for myself. Oven computers on both died after only a few uses.

Do not buy - flaws

I had my oven for about 9 months, when the door started not closing. Researched it on-line and apparently the problem is a poorly designed spring that is supposed to close the door. After a couple of tries I could get the door to close. But now the problem seems to have expanded to include the timer. Again, on-line research seems to indicate it’s tied in some way to that weak spring. The oven turns itself off when cooking so I have to keep a close eye on it. If the spring issue was resolved this would be a great product but as it is, I’d not recommend.

Convection broke just after 3 years

Bought it in 2019. Broke in 2022 just after 3 years. Had it fixed and now it just broke again in 2023. For a top of the line product, it sucks and it is very hard to get to the fan to fix it.

love it at first.....

Purchased this 3 years ago and now it will just stop working but shutting off as soon as you try to toast any thing. We use this for everything (but air frying cause it doesn't work well at all) and for the price we paid it should last most than 3 years!!!

We bought a toaster oven years ago that we loved. It lasted us a long time before the lower heating elements died. We still used it like that for a couple of years. It didn’t cook right and was not big enough for much. I finally decided it was time to replace it. I spent several months researching before I felt I found the best one for us. I couldn’t be happier with our choice! Not only did it replace our current toaster oven, it also replaced our air fryer, it’s much larger than our old one, and I can even use it to slow cook, dehydrate, or rise breads! I’m so impressed with it so far. It’s longevity will be the next thing to test. My only complaint is that it’s not the easiest to clean when you air fry in it. Otherwise, it’s a win!
