[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this about two weeks ago to fit over our ovens. So far it is working well, a little noiser than our previous one. We wish the control pannel was accessible without having to ope the door although you can enter the time on the front door but some functions are only available by opening the door. I wish there was a standard trim package with this unit so we could use it to totally encloe our opening.

I like that this microwave doesn't have a lot of words on the front and misc buttons that no one ever uses. When you open the door there are other buttons to use if needed.
I am trying to figure out which trim kit will actually work for this microwave as the one i purchased is too big.

Leaks radiation like a seive

Maybe a year old. I can't use bluetooth anywhere near this microwave, it completely interferes. But I can put my bluetooth speakers inside this microwave with it's doors closed and they work great???? Also I have no issues calling my cell phone while it is inside this microwave??? Everything I've read says the ability to do these things indicates serious, dangerous radiation issues. LG, is this ok, normal, acceptable? If so, can you explain please! Worried about effects of damage my family been subjected to over the past year from radiation poisoning????

Possible microwave leakage

We have been using the LMC1575 LG microwave for over a year. We knew it had an unconventional keypad but another we had purchased earlier died an infant death and this fit the space/capacity requirements. The keypad is a pain but not impossible to use. We thought this would be reliable based our understanding of LG's reputation. However, we have noticed serious interference on our wireless MP3 players whenever we use this microwave, up to 15ft away. We tested our players against two other microwaves we have that are about 25 and 25 years old and could not get any noticeable interference, even right up against the doors. Even knowing that the frequencies of this microwave and cell phones may not be the same, we tried to ring a phone that was placed inside the microwave (oven off) with one outside, and it rang. We cannot quantify the leakage more at this time, and don't know that there may be a health issue with it. We don't see any obvious damage to the door or elsewhere.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
