It's a nice more modern microwave, very sleek, but there are not as many cooking choices I expected. No minute button or melt or soften. It's basically basic considering all the tech we have today I would have expected more, especially something by LG. But all in all it is a nice microwave.

Awesome design... but with quality issues!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the design and features of this microwave... However, there was a very noticeable scratch on the front door straight out of the box (see attached photo). Apparently the more expensive "black stainless steel" is just a dark coating over the base stainless steel. I would have returned it to the store, but it was the last one they had AND I had just returned the bigger 2.0 cu. ft. NeoChef because one of the four feet was shorter than the other three (causing the microwave to rock back and forth on the countertop, table, floor, etc.). The 1.5 cu. ft. NeoChef is a very nice looking microwave with great features. While I really want to give it a 5-star rating, I just can't given the apparent lack of quality control.

I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased 2 days ago. Looks slim, nice. The control panel should be lit up. It is very difficult to see the letters or to follow instructions. I do not want to go back and look for another one so I must keep this. I think I will try to re-do panel instructions with bright letters.....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this one for its interior space and nice design. The main issue is that melody is loud and it becomes VERY annoying. There is no way to reduce the sound level, to turn it off or change to a single beep. I am nearly considering to cut off the speaker. Other issue is that some warming controls are only accessible with the door opened. User experience is far from average. Usually happy with LG but this product is disappointing.

Lemon don’t bother buying this

We bought it and it worked for exactly a week. Then it stopped heating up anything. The lights and noise still worked and believe me it’s noisy with an annoying circus tune whenever it’s done cooking anything. Annoying tune you can’t silence. The manufacturer needs to focus more on customer service and technology than bells! I tried to call customer service and they “weren’t taking any calls at the moment “. Lucky we kept the receipt and box and the hardware store will take it back!

No way to pick my time

Bought this two days ago and I really don’t like that the only way to program is in 10 second intervals. I would like to be able to to pick my time, e.g. 16 seconds. I can’t even do 15 seconds. I don’t just want 10 second intervals. Wouldn’t buy again.

lmc1575 microwave issues

Was excited about this new microwave, but it's just had problems since purchasing in October 2020. Within 2 years, the magnetron went out....which was fixed by a local repair shop under warranty (replaced the magnetron) but we did pay for the labor. Now (August 2023) the microwave is not heating well (takes twice the time to heat up items as it has in the past)....so not sure if the magnetron is failing again, or if it is another issue. The cost for repair place to assess and labor, on top of what we already paid for labor to replace the magnetron is approaching what it would cost to buy a new unit. Really frustrating that an appliance won't last just 3 or so years w/o any issues.
