We started to use it without even looking at the manual. Simple design makes it beautiful. It elegantly stands at its place. The melody it plays is much better than the beeps that you hear ob other models. We love and use the rice cycle a lot. It is also quiter than others. This is important for us since its place is close to our living area.
At this point it is wonderful and highly recommended. I will report if I face with any issues that looks like that I won't.
