Alas, it’s easier than I thought...easy and elegant. Slide from right to left and it goes in 10 second increments. I love the little song that plays when time is up. I also visited every local store so that I could see and touch the different models. I was very impressed with the solid construction and the very sturdy door. The door just pulls open without a button or handle and is very stylish! It is a little different but there are very few buttons on the outside of the unit. You simply open the door, set your time and power level on the inside and close the door, then press start. I selected the LG Model LMC1575BD because of the compact overall size compared to the huge amount of interior space. With an approximate 14" diameter platter, I was able to fit 3 different size microwave containers and heat our complete dinner all at the same time. No need to heat each dish separately. So after a short time I am very pleased with the purchase and highly recommend spending just a little more for a quality product.
