[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This counter top microwave has a classic design. Most countertops are just sort of ugly. To buy the slate microwave to match my stove would of been more pricey. This color is black stainless steel,so it is not real shinny & silvery looking, pretty close match. I guess if someone pointed it out and you really looked you could see the color difference. I do most of my programing from inside, then u close the door and press start. This keeps finger printing to a minimum. Has some nice features but not a bunch of features you will never use. Not huge, not tiny, perfect size for my small place. Never thought a microwave would make such a difference in how my kitchen looks, but it sure does.( maybe because I had a tiny, ugly, white one) Very happy with my choice. One thing is you cannot go LESS than 10 seconds on this microwave.I like to warm up my cats food for about 6 seconds, 10 is too much. I have to stand there and press stop. Thats ok, its worth it.

After a little research I went to the local stores (I live in a small town) to see what was on the shelf, since I needed a replacement right away. The LG microwave had what I needed at a good price and was in stock. I realized I was buying an inexpensive microwave, but I have had very good experiences with LG products in recent years. I have been very happy with the quality of the microwave. It cooks very evenly. I tend to cook frozen meals, and I found that this microwave does a perfect job of cooking the meals using the times and power recommended on the packages. That was a delight. It has been a pleasure to use the microwave and I still find myself noticing what a good job it does.
