Very sleek looking, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The slide for the time takes a little getting used to but I do like the microwave. It matches my other stainless steel appliances but doesn't have too much stainless. IT shows fingerprints less than my other appliance. Heats and defrosts quickly.

The brightness of the interior light makes it so much easier to see as things are cooking, and it plays a fun chime when the cook time is finished. Great product from LG!

I have been using this microwave for over a month and just love it. Stainless steel finish matches with my slate color appliances. I thought I would dislike it that the control panel is covered by the door, but I found it convenient to have the panel and the sticker with options together. Plus that makes the outside very sleek!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my new LG Neo Chef microwave for about 1 month now and so far we all love it. It defrosts meat evenly with it's new technology, has nice strong 1250 watt power, so food warms up faster. I like the minimal key pads, although it was a concern for me at first. I'm still working on using the slide time option to figure out exactly how much to slide it to get to 3 minutes etc. But it's not a problem as there are other ways to input 3 minutes but it's not as fast as it is when there is a numbered key pad with one touch option. My husband likes the high tech look of it. It's sleek and modern.....and minimal. And the frosting on the cake is the different melodies it sings out! We all love that feature! Different little melodies for different functions. So much nicer than the typical obnoxious beeps. Plus many other appliances beep with very similar sounds. Now I know which one is for my microwave as there is no confusion. This new unit is very easy to clean with it's non-stick interior. I keep a microfiber cloth on the top so I can easily clean the outside door and keep it shiny and fingerprint free. I love the large interior too! I can fit my 14 inch serving plate inside. I also like being able to see inside while it's cooking, so I can tell when a mug of water reaches the boiling point. The sensor cook feature I only used just a few times, but so far it was pretty accurate. But if you open the door to check on the food, the sensor cook time is cancelled and you have to start over.. Seems there should be a way to continue cooking without it being cancelled. One more downside: I wish the outside door keypads lit up.The writing is small and can be hard to see without the overhead lights on. But I know you will never find a perfect product! Overall, I do like/love this microwave for the size, money, features and appearance. A good mid-sized choice.
