I LOVVVE This Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read tons of reviews before buying this and I have to say there are a lot of people out there who don't RTFM apparently because this microwave is AWESOME. There is a button for 30 second increments on the front, and there is a slider on the front to add and remove time in second and minutes increments. Inside the door are the regular number buttons. The little tune at the end is not annoying like some of the dryers I've heard. It is not super loud. That said, I am not certain but think it can't be disabled. Anyway, it is beautiful as far as appliances go, works super super well, and is extremely easy to use. I was actually waiting for the opportunity to post my review because really it is just great. It also fits perfectly in my "built-in" cubby hole spot in my cabinets, and is deep and large inside. It's very good, and I am actually now looking at other LG appliances because this one is so well thought-out. The best microwave I've ever seen.

Really like this Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After reviewing several microwave options and reading lots of reviews, we settled on this LG microwave. Some reviews commented on not easy to use as controls inside the door, didn't have separate buttons for cooking each type of food, and musical notification too loud but this has not been an issue for us. Even the slide time option on the door was easy to adjust to. The buttons inside the door are harder to see without a light on but not a deal breaker. Love it's sleek, beautiful design. I dislike push button door openers so this with the side door handle works great and allows the door to open wider. It's a great size for sitting on the counter top.

I ordered this as a 4th of July special. It taking 6 weeks should have been a clue. It is beautiful, exactly what I wanted but barely lasted 2 months before plate stopped turning. I am still working to get refunded.

LOVE THIS MICROWAVE, BUUUUUUTTTTTT.....

I bought this microwave a little over a year ago. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this microwave.
HOWEVER
I wipe the microwave down after every use everyday and more in depth cleaning once a week. But, o matter what I do, I cannot get this smell out of the microwave...there's no food particles in the microwave or in the creases.
I've tried every home remedy to get the smell out...but it's still there.
Does anyone know what I should do?

The one thing i would recommend changing is the music when the cycle has ended...it should have an option for a beep...or the melody or neither.

Defective Control Panel

I purchased a microwave and it lasted two years before issues with the control panel. The number 8 would continue to populate on its own then most of the control panel did not work. The warranty was over and it would cost more to repair than replace. I purchased another because I liked the size and features - in less then two weeks the same issue occurred. I now have to purchase another LG product replacement, remove the stickers off the back of the old one, fill out forms, send in the proof of purchase, etc., before getting my reimbursement. I would rather purchase a microwave from another manufacturer and save time and effort and get a better quality product.

Great Microwave, Bad Display

I purchased a complete suite of LG appliances for a total kitchen remodel four years ago (2018). I have had complete satisfaction, zero problems, with all of the LG appliances (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, as well as LG washer & drier in laundry room) EXCEPT for the microwave (model LMC1575 black stainless). This past year, the microwave's display started losing segments, and now it has lost nearly half of them and it's impossible to read the time at all. After some searching, it seems to be an issue reported by others. Other than that, I love the microware.
