I love a sensitive cooking function, it does just exactly what i need!!!! It cooks very quick! I also love all melodies this microwave plays, and touch screen works so great! Lg just made one more amazing appliance, not a surprise ;) !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Capacity is great. Wish it had an option for hinges on the left side of the door. There is more power here than in most units, So you have to shorten the cook time from what is suggested on food labels. Sensory reheat of beverages is hotter than I expected, so that I have to cool them before drinking

Disappointed thus far

Purchased this microwave to match the refrigerator, oven and dishwasher recently purchased. Ordered online and was sent to my home quickly. Read through the directions!! After only 2 days of use, it no longer heats. Will now have to return it to a store for a replacement. Irritating when it is four days before Christmas!

The oven lasted a total of 14 months and then completely quit working. Also didn’t care for the controls been behind the door. LG has now slipped to the lowest on our list.

Bad engineering

Stop trying to read customer minds! Cooking by time alone is almost useless. Instead, I’m required to use sensor settings that are inconvenient and not particularly effective. Honestly, it shouldn’t take 2 minutes to warm my tea when my old 900 watt oven did it in 30 seconds. Heating tap water for 1 Min didn’t even make it warm because I didn’t additionally use a specific sensor setting. Really? I suspect this is what other reviews meant by “difficult to use”. Buy something else.

Unit does not have a disable beeper (which is actually a sequence melody). No one will use that. Please send instructions on how to safely cut the wires to the onboard speaker.

Pro: -Attractive, clean design Cons: -Can only start, stop and adjust time on 100% power from door front. For any other settings, open the door (like any other microwave -auto settings don't cook or reheat, they annihilate everything

Defective unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We wanted to be impressed by this microwave... and there are a few features that make it unique. We chose it for ease of operation for people with special needs - easy to open (no push button opening latch that requires finger strength/dexterity), limited buttons to push on the front, good size for our needs. BUT... the microwave was defective. Immediately upon plugging in new microwave, It parked and shorted out 2 electrical outlets as well as power cord on microwave.
