Very Poor Durability

I used it for 10 months. It worked well for 6 months and gradually slowed down in its heating capacity and eventually stopped heating suddenly in 10 months. Limited warranty expires STRICTLY in one year.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible Quality

I've had this microwave for less than 2 years and it has stopped working. The 10 year warranty on the Magnetron is useless because it doesn't cover labor so you're better off just buying cheap replacement instead of paying for the labor to replace the magnetron. Never buying another LG appliance.

Ease of use and cleaning make this a winner for me. Opening the door is so much better than having to push a button and I find it's quieter than opening and closing my old unit. The little jingle that tells me it's finished is a pleasant sound. I'm very happy with my new LG NeoChef 1.5 Cu. Ft. Countertop Microwave with Smart Inverter and Easyclean.
