Not bad, some things could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago and don't care for the sliding timer feature. My fault, maybe should have read more reviews. Can only plug in time in 10 second intervals. The audio sound is very annoying and keeps going off if you don't open the door. No way to change it either. Other than that it works fine. I'd recommend it as long as your aware of these shortcomings.

Great replacement for UMC5200AAB

I had a built-in with an older Maytag UMC5200AAB microwave. That microwave isn't made any more and I was worried I wouldn't be able to find a suitable replacement. This microwave is a perfect fit replacement. And by perfect fit, I don't just mean the size. I mean all the screw holes are in the right places. I was even able to swap the outer shell of of the old microwave with this one (perfect fit), and I didn't have to re-drill the mounting holes for the front bezel. If you're looking for a replacement for UMC5200AAB, then this is fantastic choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We very much liked the design and operation of the unit. However the inverter failed after 2 years and the cost to repair was nearly the replacement cost. Warranty is for only 1 year. Should last longer than this for a major brand.

Missing number buttons

Really don’t like the slider for setting the time. All the other microwaves I’ve ever used are so much easier to just hit the 3 or 5 for 3 or 5 minutes. The slider is slow and takes awhile to get higher times, and isn’t to get the times I want. So much easier to hit a number for minutes and add 30 seconds if needed. There is room above the slider to have the numbers I don’t know why they didn’t put them there. Likely going to return it.
