[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a few months ago to replace an aged but still working unit. We do like the stainless look. the controls are exposed when the door is opened. however they are not backlit. That makes operation a pain - being a countertop unit it is in the shadow of a wall cabinet so you need to turn on room lights to read the darn panel. The clock/operation timer indicator is backlit. If the operational controls were backlit when the door was open it would make operation a whole lot easier!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
