I find that even if I let the food in a little longer, it still comes out very moist. I also like the music it plays when finished and keeps reminding me if I forget to take the food out of the microwave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 13 year old microwave died so I needed to replace it because I used it everyday. I had planned to replace it with the same brand but based on poor reviews, I decided to research other brands. That's when I came across this LG. The most important feature a microwave oven needs to have is a Sensor Reheat feature because I make up a large pot of steel cut oats with hemp seed, cinnamon and milk once a week and then scoop out a bowl full each morning and reheat it in my microwave. This microwave has just that feature which is a win win for me! The clean, simple front is attractive. No buttons to get dirty. The front has a slide rule where you can slide your finger across and set the time to microwave. Very simple controls. Inside the door on the very simple touch control panel you can set the sensor reheat feature with a choice of 4 times. When done, the microwave plays a little tune rather than an annoying beep beep beep. It also plays a different tune as a reminder to remove your items from the microwave and will do so 3-4 times. The base of the turntable has 6 wheels to prevent it from tipping versus only 3 wheels on other brands. The controls are extremely simple to use and this microwave does a fantastic job of reheating and cooking. This was an excellent investment for me.

Bought from Home Depot Mukwonago, WI. Units were not available to see controls, features. We were misled about features of unit available on the outside control panel. Next size up has outside 1thru10 setting panel, this one doesn't. Also you can not set unit for less than 10 seconds timing. In this "Digital" day in age this is a missed opportunity for people like us that use small time settings. Only way to adjust is to hit stop and reset. You can not leave unit for fear of overheating items.

I’m very happy with my new microwave. Although it doesn’t have a number pad, I still find it very easy to use. I especially love the fact that it doesn’t just beep when the food is ready - it plays a little tune and puts a smile on my face.

It’s a little bigger than I planned to get but I think I’ll find more ways to use it than my old one. I got the recommendation for this model from Consumer Reports. It has a very annoying sound that it makes when it's done and keeps repeating until you take the food out. Also it is very irritating that the time increments go up in 10 seconds ONLY so if I want 23 or 25 seconds you can't do it it's either 20 or 30. It looks nice and heats up the food nicely. I would NOT buy this microwave again.
