Bought this model to replace another brand and love it. In true LG appliance form it "sings" at certain times ie when finished, when sensor cook hits 30 seconds and to remind you when your item is finished.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have only used the device for a couple of weeks, so these are just preliminary comments.
On the positive side, the full-width glass door makes it a very attractive addition to the kitchen. This necessitates setting the controls while the door is open, and then starting operation after the door is closed. At first, this seemed cumbersome, but soon became natural. The large operating cavity and excellent stable turntable were other plus features. Operation was also comfortably quiet. The ability to set a wide range of power options was clearly valuable.
On the negative side, we have found that the sensor cooking and reheating options are unreliable at best. We have yet to succeed in properly cooking vegetables, for example. Even the simple task of reheating a cup of coffee fails, with the coffee always boiling over before the oven is ready to quit. We'll continue to experiment, but we miss our old Sharp Carousel, which had a multitude of cooking settings that all worked perfectly. Another mild annoyance is the labeling of the controls: Who is the demented genius who thought that light grey labels on a darkish grey panel was an aid to legibility? We didn't arrange for a spotlight to illuminate the microwave, so one of us has to use a FLASHLIGHT to operate the controls! RIDICULOUS!!
But overall, it's a high-quality machine that we like, but with some reservations.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After about a month, we have found the microwave to be very easy to use and versatile. I wish it wasn’t so deep but we have the counter space.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have used it about a week and really like it in general. The only negative thing is that you can only set the time in 10 minute increments. Always feel like we are cooking longer or shorter times than we want to.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Performance, Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got it home, unboxed it, plugged it in and it was simple and easy to use and program. There is an added plus...instead of a beep there is a fun little tune that lets you know when things are done. It made me smile.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this when I moved into my new apartment. I love the stain resistance and the cute little song it plays when it’s done cooking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the microwave about three weeks ago. We like it. The only down fall is you have to press the “+” to increase the time instead of numbers.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this microwave a few weeks ago because the push button on my old microwave broke and i didn't want to have it repaired again, so i bought this LG microwave after a lot of research. This microwave had all the features i was looking for mainly because it had a latch door and not a push button, i was actually looking for one with a door handle, but chose this one because it had all the other features i was looking; 1200 watts of power, 1.5 cu. ft. "midsize", inverter technology, sensor cooking, and a interior light that lights up when in use or the door is open! The only down side is it doesn't have a numbered key pad for the control panel, and cooking time doesn't get any lower than 10 second incriments, but even with that it's not difficult at all to get used to! I only hope it lasts at least a few years!!
