This microwave works really well. The sensor cook function even cooks my bowl of oatmeal without boiling it over, and the defrost function does reduce (but not completely eliminate) hot spots in meat. The one thing that keeps me from giving it five stars is the lack of a number keypad. Typing in the amount of time you want is faster than adding 30 second and then 10 second increments at a time. Also, it would be great to hit "sensor cook" followed by the number 5, rather than having to press "sensor cook" five times.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I appreciate the handle on the side and prefer it to to pushbutton opening of other microwaves. The tray and round rolling rack underneath are noisy and sounds like it is broken or will break soon.

Nice size but hard to read dials

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a replacement about a month ago. The color, sleeker build was a plus. I like the darker inside, easy to clean. However, I find it very hard to read the buttons, they do not light up so I have to use a flashlight to read them. They are supposed to be easy to read but with no backlight on them they disappear in the light. I If I could read them my rating would be 5. It cooks well but the auto cook feature burnt my food. I will have to work with that feature. Overall I like this but the unreadable dials are a negative for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Only thing is it being digital, can only increase in 10 second intervals, no big deal, just stop it 5 seconds before time runs out if necessary .

I bought this microwave to replace a 12 year old functioning but dated unit...
This LG microwave lasted 18 months and quit working, of course warranty is only for one year, and any repairs would have to be paid for by me.....maybe I got a lemon, I don't know, but I would not recommend this microwave to anyone.....
