[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My older LG bit the dust after 6 years. I thought that was a good run. I bought this LG because the capacity (size) of the interior was almost the same as the much larger LG I was replacing. Really like the quieter audible signal, and the slick controls. You wan only adjust in 10 second increments, but I rarely need to do less that 10. You can always watch the countdown and just touch stop if you really need 17 seconds LOL. Much quieter running and the turntable has a lot more wheels.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Takes a little getting used to with no numbers but we’ve adjusted very easily! My old microwave cooked from the outside in, and sometimes in order to get it fully cooked, it would have to be over cooked. This microwave cooks from the inside out, so it’s done perfect every time. Once u get used to the sensor reheat and which one does what, it’s very easy! I love it! I dont Know why people complain about the jingle when it’s done.. it’s much more enjoyable than the beeping! It also is pretty quiet when it runs! Overall, I’m very pleased with this microwave!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a month ago to replace an old unit. We have the LG kitchen suite so we wanted the microwave to match. The finish and quality are top notch and it has some sort of easy clean tech. We had a few smudges on the front and they simply wiped off with a paper towel. The scroll timer is super easy to use and has the feel of today's top technology. Hopefully we will never have to use this feature but it also has technology that can sense what is wrong with the unit just by calling a number and holding your phone to a certain area of the microwave. Also has a 10 year warranty, so that gives me peace of mind. The warranty process was very easy and only took me roughly 3 minutes. The inside of the unit is large and well lit. We have enjoyed the new microwave, have been impressed by the performance and appreciate that it matches the rest of our appliances (even the clock light matches the same on our oven). We have only had it for a month but we are happy with the purchase and would do it again.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Performance, Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hey, it does what I expected it to, and has no issues at all. Just like our one month old LG fridge. Good quality with good value. Only thing annoying is the little tunes it plays. Early mornings you aren’t always in the mood for cute little tunes!
Pros: ease of use, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old microwave went out and we had a small place that the microwave needed to fit. Initially we replaced it with a cheap model because we thought, microwaves have been around so long that they should all be about the same. Boy were we wrong. There were so many things that a normal microwave should do that this cheap-o microwave would not: like cook bacon, or have a light....
So, we decided to go the other way; find a microwave full of features. Unfortunately, to get features, you have to buy a big microwave. All the small microwaves were too basic and lacked some of the newer features (like the light turning on when you opened the door). I looked at probably 25 different models before settling on this LG. It was a great choice.
What I love: - Invertor - microwave lowers its power instead of turning on and off when cooking on lower power settings. - Bright interior light comes on when door is open. - Stable turntable. Turntable has like 6 rollers so it is never out of balance. The cheap-o one only had like 3 - Size - it had the same footprint as the cheap-o microwave, but was .2 cubic feet more. Everything was just better thought out. - Speed cook settings are actually useful.
Meh - The slide time selector is cute, but it does not make me love or hate the microwave. So just to be clear, this microwave does not have a place to enter the time you want food cooked. You have a slide selector to choose the time. It ends up not being a big deal, the microwave is so high powered, you usually don't need a lot of time. - Microwave plays a song when it is complete. We have an LG washer/dryer and it is the same. Doesn't bother me at all, it's fine.
What I would change: - The controls are on the door that open. This means that the door is the width of the entire microwave. For my small space, it's a bit too big. Stopping the door prior to the control panel would have saved some space and allowed me better access to the controls. (You can still get to almost every feature from the interior control panel, but the time selector is on the outside).
Bottom line - love this microwave, would buy again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this oven for 3 or 4 months, and am overall very pleased with its performance. It cooks quickly and evenly. I have 2 problems with it, however. #1, I find the time setting function annoying in that, instead of entering the time on a key pad, one must repeatedly press the touch pad to advance the time. #2, I find the touchpad very difficult to read. The type is small, it isn't backlit or LED and, unless I shine a light directly on it, is difficult to find what I'm looking for. I am, however, very pleased with the actual performance of the oven, and I like the look of it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fast, hot, looks nice. The plate sensor heats food too hot. I wish the instructions were listed somewhere on the microwave for melting butter, for example. I don't like having to pull out the manual every time. I am sure that I'll get use to it in time but seeing as it's not super user friendly it may take a while.
