I bought this for my home based on an LG model at my workplace. I'm not too crazy about this one, but I'm stuck with it. I don't have a box to return. First, it is loud. It sounds like something is loose in it. It rattles when it is on. Second, there is no number pad. You are supposed to use the presets. I prefer a number pad. I find myself holding the plus sign while I watch it go up to 2:00 minutes or more. It's much easier to punch in a number.

We have been using this microwave for about two weeks and are satisfied with the performance. It does an excellent job cooking and heating our various foods. We have experimented with the Sensor cooking modes, and they work extremely well. We have used the popcorn setting to cook popcorn in a silicone popcorn container and it has worked flawlessly. The two minor reasons why I did not give this a 5-star rating are that it tends to be noisy with the cooking tray rattling while running (we have centered it and repositioned it with no success) and the panel does not illuminate. Otherwise, this is an excellent product that I would recommend.

The original microwave we purchased lasted about a year and a half and we had to replace it because it would no longer warm food when it ran. We tried to get it repaired since the microwave matched the other appliances rather than go to a new and different model. We ended up making the decision to purchase another exact duplicate since they wont' repair microwaves. Not sure how long the 2nd microwave of this style will last. Love LG but have lost some confidence in this particular product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the size and LG products, this microwave is now the third unit that is going back because of noise coming from both sides that you can here two rooms away. The screws on the bottom left will not tighten so I put steel wool in the hole then the screw. Still moves hole left side while running, shakes/ vibration. Right side vibrating on center left side, if you hold it with your hand the noises stop. My first unit lasted three years and was so good.
