Look for a better brand with better service

We bought this refrigerator less than 6 months ago. Over a week ago, everything on the top 2 shelves of the freezer thawed, everything in the refrigerator drawers froze, and the top shelf of the refrigerator was room temperature. LG service is terrible. It took a week for them to even send out a technician (tech was super friendly and experienced). He needed to replace several parts to make the refrigerator work again, said that he would overnight the parts and have the fridge working within 2 days. On the day of service, he called to let us know the evaporator was on back order. Per LG process/protocol, it would take an additional 3-5 days for him to find out if the part could be expedited for delivery. Then additional time to come out and repair the fridge. mind you, this timeframe leaves us without a fridge for 3-4 weeks (with an infant). LG customer service could do absolutely nothing for us. They said the parts come from Korea and they cant expedite because of one unsatisfied customer. after 40 minutes with customer service asking for a replacement because even 1-2 weeks without a fridge is unacceptable, they could do nothing citing their policy and process. LG customer service is garbage. I will be looking for a replacement refrigerator and will NOT be purchasing LG again.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great unit and easy access to see your beverage with a couple nocks on the glass door. Love it. Making a squeaking noice in the front door. Looks like weight on the front panel.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love our new LG refrigerator. The see thru door is wonderful. Plenty of space in both fridge and freezer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the see through door that lights up so you can see what you need to add. We keep sodas, seltzer, water and juice in the door so we don’t have to open the whole door to grab a drink.
