Could be great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this for a few weeks now. Love the door in door a lot more than I thought I would. The knock twice feature is a gimmick and not all that useful really, but it's still cool. My only real disappointment and the reason it didn't get 5 stars is because the shelf adjustment in the refrigerator section is a joke. That said, there's SO much storage in the door that I'm not used to that the lack of shelf adjustment hasn't been a big deal yet. How much more could it cost to add some shelf supports in the side molds of the interior? Maybe that's how they get some people to step up to the higher priced models, I don't know, but how else could it be explained? And I haven't looked at the higher priced models to see if they're more adjustable, it's just a guess on my part. I still love it. I may just have to adjust to stacking things on one shelf instead of having a truly customizable shelf system. On a minor note, the ice maker seems a bit small and was a concern initially, but even being big ice users it has kept up so far with no problem.

Awful experience with this product

Have not had a refrigerator for about three weeks now as we are still waiting for parts from LG that actually work. The refrigerator broke down 1 year and 3 weeks after purchase. Thankfully, the cooling system is covered. However, it literally took a couple weeks to get parts from California to New Jersey. Then, the new parts were installed and the refrigerator STILL does not work. This problem is costing us a fortune in terms of lost food, eating meals out, and limiting ourselves to a small mini-fridge. No THANKSGIVING at my home this year thanks to this issue! EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING, especially in consideration of how much we spent for this product. So if you're seeking a dependable and quality product, AVOID THIS ONE AT ALL COSTS.

1 year 1 month after we purchased the compressor gave out. No warranty w store no warranty w manufacturer. Still paying it off though.... ice filter lasted about two months. Sucks. Expensive replacement parts.
We bought this fridge from Jcpenny. We were advised a full 1 year warranty and bought the extra protection. The ice dispenser and water dispenser did not work upon installation. We called to get someone out, was advised we needed a new water line. Installed one. Still didn’t work. Called back and a tech came out...he said it was a quick fix as the filter was freezing. Put some tape on it...and within 24 hours it still wasn’t working. Called back. Tried to set up a tech to come back they couldn’t get in touch within. In the mean time every thing in our fridge started freezing at 38 degrees. Still no tech. Finally a tech was schedule for the next day...the tech never showed up. We called again. They we will just replace it. Until they found out jcpenny sold us a floor unit...LG doesn’t stand behind floor units. Customer service actually said “it is what it is” sorry. We have another appt with a tech...who knows if he will show. A fridge that is freezing everything and no one willing to help us. I was told If he can’t fix it well then you better hope jcpenny will refund your money. Nice! Really nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a problematic GE Profile with this upgraded LSXS26396S. Very stylish & efficient with newer technology. Only drawback was number of electronic advancements such as precise fill, beverage center controls, etc

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator a week and a half ago. I now sit waiting for a repair guy. Top section on both sides won't cool and now the water dispencer doesn't work.

This is a great refigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this refrigerator for about 2 months now and I am very happy with it. My last refrigerator was only able to maintain a temperature of 41 F, at best. This refrigerator runs very cold, about 34 F, and I have even had to turn it up a couple of times. I looked at consumer reports on refrigerators and found LG has a good reputation. Only complaint I have is in the water dispenser, which requires you to have the glass/cup placed carefully under the dispenser to keep from spraying water around the container.
