I bought this 2 years ago and have had nothing but trouble with it. Everytime there's a flicker in the lights you have to unplug it and plug it back in to reset it or everything will get warm. Then the water Reservoir exploded and water leaked all over when I wasn't home. Then the freezer went warm twice and lost all the food. I had the repair man change the compressor and computer board and still didn't work two weeks and a second repairman had to change the compressor and condenser again.

I’ve had this fridge for over 4 years and had a few issues with it. However I did get the extended warranty and issues have been resolve

The ice maker is a terror. Despite our dispensing ice almost daily, a plug of it apparently melted in the dispensing tube, then froze solid. It also froze the entire ice holder around the edges, so that could not be removed. I had to take out the ice a handful at a time, then use wife's hair dryer to melt the plug. Naturally the one-year warranty had just expired. And there is no guidance online on how to fix the problem.

Thank you for that information, Because we've had issues with the craft ice balls not ejecting properly LG has released a software update for those units with a craft icemaker. You can also try the following troubleshooting steps showcased in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFj0G2xTZL0 The main thing the software update does is it extends the heater time which now loosens the ice balls from the mold and allows them to drop. Once that happens your icemaker will begin back on its regular cycle of making ice. If these steps don't work, you can always reach back out to us for further assistance. ^Tanisha

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Refrigerator is 4 yrs and 2 weeks old, the water tank that feeds the ice-maker broke. The refrigerator and freezer quit working, we unplugged, emptied the ice bin, cleaned out the refrigerator, and found strange pieces of plastic that didn't match any parts we could recognize, then plugged it back in, tried the water dispenser and noticed water coming from the refrigerator side, we took out the drawers (that we'd just put back in), and found that the white bulb-like dispenser at the back inside was broken, the color and thickness matched the broken parts we'd found. We are now trying to find that part to repair it ourselves but not sure where we can buy it. We are now waiting for the freezer to come back to temperature, We turned off the ice-maker but the water is still leaking a small amount. I'm so disappointed, we loved this fridge, have a lot of LG appliances in our home, and have convinced others to purchase them. We'll have to rethink brands on our next purchase.
