[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I BOUGHT THIS REFRIGERATOR 3 YEARS AGO AND HAD TROUBLE ABOUT 6 MONTHS LATER BUT DIDN'T REALLY KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON. IT FINALLY STOP WORKING COMPLETELY AND HAD TO BE REPAIRED. THANKFULLY, IT WAS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY AND THE COMPRESSOR WAS REPLACED.

Love the door-in-door feature, the size of the freezer, the convenience of the in-door ice cube maker, and the ease of cleaning the inside of the refrigerator and the freezer. I would definitely buy another LG product and recommend it for others to invest in also.

Being a family with younger children, I appreciate the signal that chimes when the door hasn't been shut all the way!
We have had trouble with the ice maker freezing up and not producing ice, but it has been resolved with a couple of service calls. Keeping the setting on cubed instead of crushed seems to help. Most recently, the compressor went out and had to be replaced. So my advice is- purchase the warranty! All of this was covered under our extended 5 year warranty. This is a great refrigerator, but unfortunately, things aren't made like they used to be made!

The compressor went out a couple of weeks ago, and much to our surprise, we found out that it was still under warranty. The repairman was very professional, and replaced the compressor, and the fridge now works as good as new. Didn’t cost us a cent! Extremely satisfied!!
