SOOO EASY!!!

Just took it out of the box an hour ago and everything went EXACTLY as advertised. It was soo easy, literally just plug it in and it worked! Love it!! Very clear image and all the features work great, especially the phone ap. Really can't say enough about how good it is.
I would recommend this to a friend!

mistakes I made

I bought the 4-1 squid and hooked it up to my receivers and it blew up my receivers. I also bought a 65 ft. connecting chord and found out it is not for the wireless cameras. So, install the system as it comes and it will perform great. If you are not sure of something, contact the CHAT line and get an immediate, correct answer.

This is a great system, it has good picture quality, easy to select the video that you want to view, great signal range on the cameras to the base unit, works well with its night vision. I just wish Defender would furnish a printed instruction manual instead of just the disc.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this model to hang externally on my home after a home invasion.
System was as easy to set-up and provides an excellent daytime picture from all 6 cameras. Nighttime picture quality is not quite as good, but still adequate. Had to put the receiver/recorder in a central location in the home so that all camera wireless links worked.
This is a good system and it is transportable should you move. I had one issue with a camera and power supply, but the item was replaced under warranty no question asked. Excellent Customer Service support.

we bought this unit plus 2 extra cameras, and it was very easy to set up and start using right away. It has a good picture and a it is a great unit

short range great

I bought this because the product description says it has a 750' range. That range must have no obstacles. My bad, I thought I could have the cameras on 1 floor and the dvr on another. Doesn't work that way. If you have a clear line of sight from you camera to you dvr, it works great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
