Great Upgrade System!

I ordered the Pro system 5/4/16. Synching cameras to system took 1hr. 2 cameras per router, thus 3 routers + cameras MUST be near an electric outlet. I think this is a great wireless system (didn't want to hire anyone to run wires). The image quality is good, DVR storage is great. Definitely recommend this for DIY person. Keep in mind, you may have to relocate the routers/dvr and cameras to achieve maximum signal. This is a great system and what I consider to be an affordable price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

New Security System

I bought this system to watch over my home, so far no problems after a few hic-ups during setup. Picture quality is great, now hoping it does what it is intended for. I have already suggested that family members get it for their homes.

I bot this unit a few days ago....installed the system around my property....have slept MUCH better, and now leave home with confidence.

I purchased this system to add to my existing (wired camera) Defender system.
I had no issues connecting the receivers to unused inputs on the existing DVR.
I didn't know what the viewing angle would be. (Wish it was in the specs.) My wired cameras are wide-screen and have a viewing angle of about 60 degrees. The viewing angle on these is about half that, offering a more 'zoomed-in' picture.
I was very pleased with the night vision. The lighting is much more uniform than that of the wide-screen cameras.
Live picture quality is good both night and day.
Recorded picture quality is not as good. I have tinkered with various recording formats to try to determine which one is 'best quality' (another place the documentation is lacking), but none compare to 'live'.
Before purchasing the system I read the reviews. I selected the PRO series because of comments concerning signal range. I am glad I did, because I have marginal signal on some channels, even at distances below 200 feet. They work about 60% of the time. I think once I acquire extension cables and relocate the receivers closer to the cameras (and further from the DVR) The signal issue will be resolved.

Easy setup. Great support

I bought over a year ago. Have been dealing with my parents medical issues. Bought on eBay. One receiver for 2 of the 6 cameras did not work. Was a couple months past warranty. Called customer support. Daniela was great! She set me up to be covered under one time past warranty. Got receiver back in around 3 weeks and it works great. The system was easy to setup. Had to change wireless wifi to 5 instead of 2.4. I like the system so far. Haven't setup for my phone yet. Very special thanks to Daniela in customer support for all her help!!!
