Easy setup, and gives piece of mind when away

Instructions are little bit confusing but I called Defender.
Almost 2 hours waiting to talk with someone.
But after I talked with Michel everything works fine

One month in - all is well

I have six cameras and have placed them in spots that I don’t think I can make permanent for best results. You have to weigh the outlet availability to span of view. They are fine for now but I will need to secure at some point. Interfacing the cameras to the DVR unit was fairly simple but had more difficulty with the remote Internet viewing. Through persistence, I finally made it work. Other than that last comment, I’ve been completely satisfied.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy Setup

I bought this to replace my old system which finally died. The price was great and the setup wasn't hard at all for me anyway. I had someone doing minor damage to my truck while I wasn't home or at night, police said that I should upgrade my system and now I will catch him if he continues, and I can check on it from work. Another plus is writing this review I get an extended 12 month warranty. It's a plus for me.

Relatively easy to install the cameras and dvr.

I picked up this system to cover the front of the house, access to the back yard, entry, driveway, etc. It was fairly easy to set up with the cameras and dvr. I eventually figured how to connect it to my tv. Seeing the live view through my I-phone is a great feature. I still have to work out the bugs on connecting it to my home network but, I expect that will take a call to tech support. Overall, the system is doing everything I expected. The picture quality is pretty good. I'm curious to see how it looks through the hdmi input, i.e., if that is better than the s-video connection.
I would recommend this to a friend!

easy to set up .range is a little less than stated .Have one bar of signal at 300 feet and only glass between camera and receiver . Good pic and good at night pic.
