i Bought this set of wireless cameras dvr and are very satisfied on how they work i had a problem installing 3 other cameras with its communication with the small wireless antenna router i sent back to defender for a review and inspect of them waiting on rsponse other that that 2 already wireless cameras are running running right now with the dvr recording work great distance on them is excellent Recommend.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent system at a good price. Easy setup

I had first bought a competing product from a different company at a big box store. Problem was the DVR was very noisy! Lot's of fan and / or hard disk noise. Took it back. Got this unit and turned on the DVR. Very quiet. I have no problem putting in my office. Setup was a total breeze. The camera's worked immediately when plugged in. Scanned the QR code on the DVR and had remote viewing on all channels right away.
Features I wish it had but doesn't.
1. I don't see an option for text messaging on motion detect (email only).
2. I don't see an easy way to rotate the images. You can't mount the camera upside down or sideways.
Overall, I've extremely satisfied with the system. Night vision is good too.

I purchased this product about a month ago to set up in my barn to monitor cattle. It was a simple plug n play and had the system set up in a couple of hours. i did have to purchase a yagi antenna because i couldnt get reliable reception from inside the barn which was about 300ft away.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pretty good for the price range

Pretty easy setup. Not quite the advertised range despite very few things blocking line of sight. Biggest disappointment is interruption in Wifi signal, but it improved when I changed the frequency of my router. Be prepared to do this before buying any of these wireless products.

System easy to install,, it doesn't come with instruction book. Take me awhile to figure out how to do open ports and port forward for live view on iphone

I bought this system to cover and protect my home and I couldn't be happier. It is a very simple to set-up system and it met and exceeded all my expectations. I would recommend this system (or Defender) to anyone looking for a Security camera system.
