Excellent system at a good price. Easy setup

I had first bought a competing product from a different company at a big box store. Problem was the DVR was very noisy! Lot's of fan and / or hard disk noise. Took it back. Got this unit and turned on the DVR. Very quiet. I have no problem putting in my office. Setup was a total breeze. The camera's worked immediately when plugged in. Scanned the QR code on the DVR and had remote viewing on all channels right away.
Features I wish it had but doesn't.
1. I don't see an option for text messaging on motion detect (email only).
2. I don't see an easy way to rotate the images. You can't mount the camera upside down or sideways.
Overall, I've extremely satisfied with the system. Night vision is good too.

After checking several places, this was the most cost effective and best bang for the buck system. Installing was not difficult.

This camera system is the best going. Easy setup it was up and running in no time at all. I did have a little trouble with setting up the remote camera viewing. Connecting the DVR to the internet. I called Defender tech support and they had no problem helping me set it up. Defender usa is the best. from sales to tech support.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this unit for our business and so far it has performed fairly good. When the cameras have a clear line of sight the signal strength is great, but when the camera has to broadcast the signal through a wall, then it is hit/miss.
I would recommend this to a friend!

GREAT CAMERA SYSTEM

We bought this system after 2 breakins in a year. We have an alarm system that scared them off, so they got nothing. The Police responded and said it would have been nice to have had a camera set up. This is a system that was fairly easy for me to install, even at 80 years old.The computer setup was complicated for. However I made 2 differant calls to customer support for help. Within 5 minutes on both calls I was talking to a live person. One call I talked with a lady named Daniela and the second was with a lady named Stacey. Both of these ladies was extremely polite, helpful and easy to understand. Both of them talked me through the setup and now everything is working great. They both was excellent. We have 5 cameras mounted outside and 1 camera inside. Thanks again to Daniela and Stacey.
