Best fan ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best fan on the market and I couldn't be more satisfied with it. The style is almost exactly the same as the original Vornado fans from the 1940s. This is a three speed fan. First speed is very soft and almost silent whereas third speed moves quite a lot of air and the fan is a bit loud. The second speed is the sweet spot. It moves a lot of air and has a pleasant hum. The only noticeable difference between this and the old 1940's Vornado fans are the blades. The newer model has plastic blades but the rest of the fan is metal and it's solid. The fan comes well packaged with a nice user manual which explains how the fan works and how to position it for each season. Assembly only took five minutes.
Pros: Durable, Good Power Output, Quiet, Stable Base

The Vornado Fan Exceeds Expectations!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Vornado Pedestal Fan arrived! It didn't take long after following the detailed instructions to have it up and running. The base is very stable. You can adjust the fan up and down, There is a full action pivot head to adjust the tilt of the fan. For such a compact fan; it really puts out an amazing breeze. We have an open concept house. I put the fan in the living room and I still could feel a breeze in the dinning room, and that was on low speed. I turned off all of the ceiling fans and just had the Vornado Fan running. There are multiple speeds. This fan is so efficient that I don't think I will need to use the highest speed. I would recommend this Vornado Fan to everyone. If you want a quality product that will stand the test of time, get a Vornado Fan. Comfort and Quality---that is a Vornado Fan.

I love the look. It reminds me of my vintage fan from the '50's. I have used vornado for over 25 years. This fan seems to be comparable to a mid range fan instead of the larger room circulators. The fan has a very well made and durable feel. ::i was hoping for a bigger motor to move the air in my room.. I am also disappointed in only a 5 year warranty. The top of the line fans used to carry a lifetime warranty. I am very impressed with quietness of the fan. I do not regret the purchase.

Beautiful, Powerful, but Missing No-Brainers

Just about the best looking fan out there and super powerful for its size...but why o why can’t I swivel it side to side?! At this price I would expect such a no brainer feature. As it is, even the height adjustment kind of dicey given the weight of the fan head and the absence of any spring or hydraulics to help with the weight. I love that the base is notched to slide closer to furniture, but because I’m unable to adjust it side to side this doesn’t really help. Overall, still happy because of the positives, but I did expect more thought and care at this price.

We use a fan in almost every room of our home to have fresh air. We love the look and the quiet while having fresh air circulate.

Powerful

Good looking fan that works well
