Great fan bring it back

Bought this fan in 2022 and it is absolutely the best fan I have ever owned. I'd like to buy two more but it is out of stock and now impossible to order.
MCM-style, quality fit and finish, and longevity are all reasons to consider the Vornado 'Senior Pedestal Vintage Air Circulator' fan for home or office.
Home & Back story: A Vornado family for over six-years, within our household we have four such fans in different rooms. We also have two low / off the floor versions (same style and quality, not on a pedestal), and one Vornado heater.
Quality: One of our fans just stopped working, died all of a sudden. It ran daily for over six years like a workhorse. Sadly, it died just outside the 5-year warranty... but am not upset. I am very pleased with the build quality - so much so we plan to replace with another next week.
Office: So pleased I opted to splurge and get one for my MCM office. It runs daily on medium, positioned toward the ceiling and moving great air flow daily.
Should you buy? Yes. I am frugal but invest in quality that lasts - of the opinion 'cost per use' is more important than overall cost, as 'cheap' does not last. This fan is worth the cost, as the price per use is low.
As I grew up, visiting my grandparents’ home that had no air conditioning, she would turn the Vornado on in the living room. And I would lie down on the floor. And the sound of it would put me to sleep, period. Summers in Georgia are hot and of course the wind felt good, but the sound of the Vornado, for me, was magical as it lulled me to nap. That is the main reason I bought this fan. Expensive for a fan? Yes. But already, I have fallen in love with my VFan Sr because of the flow and more importantly, the sound. Even my cat is lying there under the fan I believe because he is lulled off to sleep. My AC thermostat is set higher because the air movement is so comfortable that I don’t have to use it as much. Ask me if I love my VFan and you get a resounding yes. It took me years to purchase, because of the price, but I finally did and am as happy as a lark.
I absolutely love this fan. It is quiet, powerful, heavy, and well made. And it looks good in our house. I had grown used to the crappy plastic oscillating fans that we have used over the years and stopped thinking about fans as part of a home cooling strategy. With these new VFANs, we have bumped up the thermostat setting for our heat pumps and are even more comfortable than when the temp is lower. I'm already trying to think about where I would put a 3rd.
If hurricane winds are what you need, buy a Vornado! If you are a woman experiencing hot flashes, you know exactly what I mean. If you are wanting to ditch that cheap, plastic and just plain ugly fan, invest in whatever model of Vornado you are currently eyeballing. Yes, Vornados are more expensive but you truly DO get what you pay for. If vintage is your preferred eye candy, buy the vintage Vornado. As for reviews complaining about noise levels, I can only assume these are people who are stingy with 5 star reviews or have never owned a fan. Maybe these reviewers are new to planet earth and have no idea how a fan works? Yes, there is a hum because fans have motors. If you need a fan but require complete silence, do not buy a Vornado. Matter of fact, do not buy a fan, period! Probably best to just forget about them and suffer in blessed silence while the rest of us are enjoying our Vornados.
