Love that variable speed, which, in this incarnation, starts at the slowest speed from first click. Extra reach head angles make it functional for cooling or heating (of course!) with just a quick repositioning.

I have learned over time how much better Vornado fans are than any others. This is the tenth one I’ve bought (3 at home and 7 in summer house with no a/c) and this one is somehow even better than the others. The power knob is like a dimmer switch - goes to way high or back down to very low smoothly rather than three fan-speed choices. This fan is a powerhouse!

This fan is quiet with great air flow. The air feels cooler in the room with this fan, it amazing that this small fan can cool an entire room. I now own three Vornado fans, this first purchase was for our camper, the second for my bedroom, the third is in my office. I have asked Santa for a small one for my bathroom!

After purchasing four Vornado fans, I wanted one that would fit my kitchen and bedroom needs. I selected this 533DC Energy Smart Small Air Circulator, and I could not be more pleased. During the day, I place it next to my gas range to circulate the air within my enclosed kitchen, and at night it sits on a table in my bedroom which enhances my sleep ability. At low to mid speed, I cannot hear the fan at all, while at higher velocity, along with a powerful force, it emits a "white noise"..... you get to choose.
