I am long-time customer, have the old Model 533, which is still working fine. I just needed an additional fan. This is a nice model and real quiet. I would have liked to purchase a "Made in the USA" model, but I had already checked out. Perhaps you could make the
"Made in the USA" section heading larger at the top of the dashboard?

I live in a small (app. 400 ft^2), unventilated studio apartment with one window and have been surprised by how efficiently this fan moves air, even at slower speeds. It has done wonders to keep the air inside my apartment fresh. I've not yet had the opportunity to test it in the summer heat, but I have no doubt that it will perform well. By far the best feature of this fan is its variable speed. At night I sleep with it on at low speed and when I am cleaning and need to freshen the room or dry laundry indoors, I open the window and front door and let it blast for a couple hours. I hope and expect that this product will perform well over time at nearly constant use, because I definitely see myself using it constantly!

I ordered two of these fans because we used the Baby Vornado space heaters last winter. They are amazingly wonderful as well, by the way! Anyway, these fans are quiet and circulate air very well. Happy to say they have helped me avoid using our air conditioner so far which is a huge plus for me.

My son lives with me and runs hot. I run cold. If he could have a year round indoor temperature of 60 degrees, he'd be happy. I prefer 72, with no drafts thank you very much.
This small Vornado is just the thing. Diffuses the air blast so that I am not cold and drafty - and provides him with enough breeze for comfort. P.S. - he uses the larger version for his large studio room.

Nice fan with quiet efficient operation. 4 stars because the cord is made out of very stiff materials and never loses it's memory. If bent in cold conditions it will crack.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the Vornado fan. It is small and has a good length cord. It really is quite powerful! I tried it first in a smaller room. 12sf. I could feel the cool air all through the room at any speed. I then tried it in a larger room. Abt 16sf. I could still feel the air through the room at higher speeds. Now, although the fan is really quiet up to the middle speed mark, when you get passed the middle speed, it is just a little bit loud. But I didn't have a problem with it. It is a very powerful little fan and the speed adjustment on it is easy to use and set. The fan does not have a swivel option but you can adjust the night of the head. It's light and easy to carry and it looks sleek in design. It also does great on energy. Over all I loved it and want another one!
Pros: Adjustable, Compact, Durable, Good Power Output, Lightweight, Quiet, Stable Base
Cons: Doesn't have a swiveling head, Gets loud passed the medium mark

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Normally I am a very harsh critic of almost all things. Testing this product has been a rare exception, as it has been nothing short of impressive since I first turned it on. First, it's compact design and very light weight, make it easy to move and place almost anywhere it is needed. The real standout features of this product are in its' power and sound dampening abilities. I was especially "blown away" by the amount of wind speed/cooling power such a small machine could generate. If you're not careful, turning the dial past the halfway mark could leave your dining room table covered in the morning newspaper instead of breakfast! At the same time, this fan remains almost silent up to the halfway mark. It only becomes "loud" when it is generating what seem like hurricane-force winds. The one minor drawback that I identified was the lack of ability to oscillate. Although the frame does have a horizontal axis that can tip the fan up/down, it would be perfect if it could somehow incorporate the ability to oscillate as well. Other than that, this is a product that is very impressive, and I feel that the average consumer would feel the same way. I would absolutely recommend this to my friends, and am very happy to have one! Thank You!
