Very quiet, custom speed adjustment is a nice feature

With COVID keeping us at home nearly 24/7 we bought this fan to help make our condo more comfortable in the intense summer heat. It was easy to set up and is very quiet even when running at higher speeds. The variable speed control is a nice feature that I don't have on my other Vornado fan which only offers L/M/H settings. I'm running my AC less because the fan is helping me distribute the cool air more efficiently. If I could improve one thing it would be the placement and color of the power supply. The black cord sticks out against the white fan and silver stand. It would be great if the cord could be routed through the stand to make it less conspicuous. That's a nitpick, though. Overall I'm really happy with it and appreciate the fact that it comes with a 10yr warranty.

Just got mine in FedEx today. I have the fan pointing the other way and I feel air hitting all sides of the room. Incredible. Only complaint is the 783DC does not come with a paper manual, and assembling the stand is a bit of a task. But I love it. 4 stars.

Has been brutally hot in California these last few days, and even with our dual AC unit, adding the Vornado to the family room has been a hit with us and our two dogs! They love to lay in front of the fan.

I have had Vornado air circulators for over 15 years now. Not only do they run forever but if they do break down the company backs them 100% with either replacement or repair. They even once did that with a fan I had out of warranty. I have two fans and one heater. Love their products and this company.
