We hate to hear that you experienced an issue with your monitor's stand. Your feedback is especially important to us. Please rest assured that your concerns will be shared with our marketing and product teams. Regrettably, the unit had a 1 year warranty on parts and labor from the date of original retail purchase. You can contact Customer Support by private message via Facebook or Twitter @LGUSSupport with #VOC or call at 800-243-0000 for possible repair options that would be at your expense. This will allow for an open dialogue with expert agents that are better able to offer the proper assistance. Please be sure to provide your contact information, model/serial numbers and date of purchase. We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration caused. ^Daphane

Very Disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In short, will not work with anything other than a new MacBook with the USB-C cable. If you have an older MacBook with the HDMI or thunderbolt ports, don't waste your money.

Infuriating design decisions

I borrowed this from someone during lockdown. They use a Mac, I use a PC. What is this obsession with minimalist design features such that it's not even considered necessary to provide some buttons to adjust the screen settings. The monitor was far too bright and I spent 15 minutes trying to find a way to adjust the setting. After looking online it appeared there is no way of doing this via the hardware. There is apparently an auto-sensor, which is clearly not a good idea unless it's complemented with a way to adjust it given that not everyone has the same preferences.
It seems that you can update the settings via iOS, but I don't actually believe there's a way to adjust the settings on your PC. Maybe if you install some driver you can, but why on earth should I have to go to that much effort when you could simply provide me a few buttons to update it in 30 seconds, rather than wasting 30 minutes only to have not even solved the problem. Terrible design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this as part of a transportable system and I like that the stand pops off allowing me to pack it to my project sites. I can edit photos with all of the resolution and color accuracy I have in the studio.
Pros: Features/Settings, Performance, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect partner for my new 2017 iMac

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do a lot of photo and video work as a hobby. I love the convenience of having a second screen for Photos while using Final Cut Pro on my primary screen. The colors are vivid and bright, perfect for photo editing. Best of all, the monitor was "plug and play" for USB-C port on the iMac.
