[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this monitor to go with a new Apple Mac Mini as I had owned my old monitor for several years. I was literally shocked at how clear the picture is. I can read text on this monitor so much easier, than the old monitor. One of the best features is the fact that you just plug it into your Mac and enjoy. There is no buttons for adjustments, not even an on-off button. You simply start your computer and the picture is in perfect settings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a BEAUTIFUL monitor. Equivalent to the retina screen on your MacBook Pro or iMac. Being able to use a single cable for charging and connection is wonderful. BUT, after a few years of use, the primary USB-C/Thundrbolt connection became lose making the monitor unusuble.

Bricked three months after warranty ended

Monitor stopped working a year and three months after purchase. Computer stopped recognizing it and display would not turn on although ports still charged devices. No multiple display support. Can't connect to eGPU.

Beats the 27" hands down!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not being able to make up my mind I have purchased BOTH the 21 and 27 LG displays for my new MBP (knowing I can return the one I decide against). The 21" fired right up..very fast. excellent color...highly responsive. Seems to work just like its advertised! I then tried the 27" - faster thunderbolt, internal camera.. Big mistake. It flickers, the MBP can't seem to find it, secondary tasks seem to take a long time. Very disappointed in its performance. Seems the video requirements of the 27" might be pushing the MBP to extremes. Initially I thought out of the box I'd be keeping the 27". Not so. I'm returning the 27" because of these issues. I wish the 21" had the internal camera for obvious reasons, but the 21" is a hands down winner for me.

Great, but won't wake up after sleep

I got these via Woot, and I've attempted to swap to a thunderbolt cable instead of the supplied USB-C hoping it would solve the issue.
Result is I constantly have to pull cables out of the MacBook and plug them back in. This resets brightness and in general is pretty annoying.
I see people online state cables, or firmware updates, but after almost 8 months now I've had no luck.
I have no idea if its Mojave power issues or the monitors. Either way its 2 step backwards and one step forward.

Beautiful monitor, but may interfere with my WiFi.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this display since December. It looks great and is a greta compliment to my new MacBook Pro. However, I've read how the 5K display interfered with WiFi, and I believe this one does as well. When I positioned it above and behind the my MBP, my WiFi signal was terrible. When I moved it to the side, it was better, yet very slow. When I removed it from the room, WiFi was back to normal.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

color uniformity is bad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought one of these at the apple store in The Hague. The color uniformity was atrocious. The left side of the screen had a reddish tint to it, and the right side looked more greenish. This was especially obvious on white screen content such as an empty safari window. I returned the device the next day and was given a choice of refund or to try another one. I opted to try another one. This one turned out to have the same problem, only slightly less. Returned it and took the refund.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
