My dentist told me that Sonicare may very well put him out of business.

I have taken care of my teeth since youth. My parents always told me that alot of care went into the maintenance and cleanliness of my teeth. Every 6 month dental cleaning as well as Orthodontic care has given me, what I believe to be, beautiful white teeth. I have been told I have a beautiful smile. As a male, and now an adult male...the very least I could do for my parents at this age of my early 40's, is to take care of my teeth. Sonicare was given as a gift from, you guessed it, my parents, just 2 years ago. I could see, as I opened the gift, given with much pride, the joy my parents felt all over again. I believe they felt they still had a bit of control of my dental care. Yes, at my most recent dental checkup, I was told by the dentist that he had very little to clean and asked me how I was able to keep them so well. I proudly told him," I use Philips Sonicare." He looked a bit concerned and stated that electric brush may make the need for his care obsolete.
Pros: operates with varying settings, egonomically friendly, sterilizes quickly
Cons: occasionally slips from wet hands

Easy to use and great results

This product is very easy to use. I especially like the timing feature because it enables you to brush for the proper legnth of time. I love how clean my teeth feel after brushing!
Cons: replacement heads are a bit costly

Effective cleaning

The timed action of the Sonicare insures thorough cleaning. But the excessive cost of the replacement heads is offensive.
Cons: good product but extremely overpriced!

Healthy Teeth & Gums

This is the best toothbrush that we've ever used. In the past we've had to use a compact toothbrush but my husband and I find the design of this standard Pro Results toothbrush head cleans out teeth and gums thoroughly!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the sonicare a lot. I do have a serious problem with removing and replacing the brush heads. On one occasion, when removing the head, it pulled up matter from the brush handle that I couldn't replace. Fortunately it was still under warranty and the handle was replaced. It makes me a bit anxious when it's time to replace the heads
Pros: less plaque at last dental visit
Cons: removing and replacing heads is tricky

I always get good dental check-ups since using Sonicare. I use it twice daily and would be lost without it. Manual brushing doesn't come near getting your teeth as clean.
